About This Game You are the pilot of a highly maneuverable fighter ship codenamed the “Fury”, after the Furies of ancient Mythology. The Fury is made possible by a super conductive core, fused of lava from beneath the surface of Earth and “cryo-lava” from Titan, one of the moons of Venus. Utilizing a newly discovered elemental binding, it has become possible to create a “Geocore” that can generate enough power to drive superconductive technology. An insanely powerful drive system allows the ship and pilot to create a magnetic sphere in which the ship can move in any direction freely and with no inertia. It is up to you to pilot this advanced machine to investigate the mines, where highly advanced robots and remote mining machinery have been deployed to gather the elements needed to make more Geocores. Nothing has been heard from either the robot crews or the mining machines in one of the main facilities, and you have been called upon to investigate. Gameplay: 6DOF gameplay, setting the player free from the floor and allowing full translation and rotation on all 6 axes. A focus on balanced multiplayer competition with stable and well tested netcode. Single player where you stalk and be stalked by killer machines. The action is intense, the skill level is high, and the rewards are lifetime friends and enemies. Join the ranks of the toughest pilots in the world, enjoy the company of veterans who can and will show you the ropes, and be proud of your status as part of the elite 6DOF community. 7aa9394dea Title: GeocoreGenre: Action, Indie, Early AccessDeveloper:Anarchy InteractivePublisher:Anarchy InteractiveRelease Date: 31 Jul, 2015 Geocore Download Dlc After playing for a bit, I can see something greater that can possibly come from this beginning. The graphics themselves aren't terrible, but overall the graphics need a bit of polishing (especially the copious amounts of dense fog that kills the vision beyond a logical point. Definitely need to add individual options for that PLEASE!!!), and the robots look too... what word can I use? Not boring, but maybe a bit unimaginative, and limited? (Not all robots need gun-arms. Tubbs punched the♥♥♥♥♥♥out of you in Descent 3, and in the first 2, you had swingarms. Maybe add Katana or Bore-like robot with speed for close combat?) Obviously the AI isn't set in stone, and the spawnpoints need to have a controlled algorithm so they stop spawning at a certain amount of bots, or this just becomes an arcade game about points instead of actual substance. I like the weapon graphics though. They seem a bit.. 2D maybe? Probably could benefit from enemies using a variant of the same thing that the Fury has. Different color/damage/strengths. The controls feel VERY descent-like, the keyboard ramping might want to be an option for giving remove/reduce so the ship moves with proper key presses and reaction time. The mouse seems a bit draggy as well, but not horribly. I don't know how many people are working on this project, but it deserves some attention, and maybe some help to move it along. I think with a bit of story and some help, this game could definitely attact a new generation of 6DoF pilots. It does have strong competition with Descent: Underground, and Overload, though, which are being worked on with groups of people from the Descent and of-the-like industry, and I'm sure a larger budget. If you want to grab a cool little blast em up game that you can share with your friends, its worth grabbing, especially on sale. Scoffing at a work of art, or a sculpture before its finished is ignorance. Keep working, and I'll keep watching. Good luck and Godspeed creator!. I bought this for me and a few friends on a whim, because why not? Could be fun for multiplayer...It looks like♥♥♥♥♥♥ performs like♥♥♥♥♥♥ is buggy, is still unfinished, and generally isn't worth even the cost it asks. Go buy a copy of Descent or Overload instead, because those games are worth your time. Heck, buy NeonXSZ. That game was not my thing, but it's at least the solid game that this most definitely isn't.. This game has been on early access for quite some time but from what I understand, this is all done from a one-man development? so far it looks great. the Player ship moves just about perfect from the original Descent games. I will say though, the enemies need to be more noticeable, like those smaller ones for instance. Maybe later on, some variety of maps that don't use the same textures but hey, what do I know?. For an alpha game, this has really smooth gameplay. Although the single player levels are very copy-past, this will hopefully improve in moving to the final game. Gameplay with oculus DK2 is very smooth and enjoyable. Only wish the menu’s where in 3d as well. Controls and gameplay is very descent like.. Let me start by saying for the price this game is fun.. But game play and presentation shown in the video, are not present in this current version of the game.. Patrol you wonder around until a swarm or wave of the same type of robot come after you.. The multi play mode looks like a lot of fun if any one was in the loby ( I am not judging that) But the cool cockpit view and dark gritty ness of the entier game video demo is replace by Fog great controls ( feels like decent did) and a very genric cockpit view. Now for all the good bits. This game has great potential !! For a 1 man team I am very happy with my purcase You did a good job.. Trying to understand single player game ( not this games intent but a nice addition and temporay disctracton) Where this game looks like it shines is the multi player death match.. I am excited to get a few friend playing that portion.Improvement/Changes:1. The demo videos need to be changed It does not reflect the current state of this game.2. In the death match mode Add a bot mode that learns (that is old tech think original unreal betting the library for that can be found for little cost if any) and uses your own tatics on you.. I loved if this would happen. 3. Continue to have fun I will be playing this game with friends and discussing it as it updates. I can tell you have put time into this title. And you have a love of the 6D shooters. Final Notes:This is not what i was expecting ( The art shift got to me) But it has potential to be a fantastic game for mulit player. I look forward to getting some friends together and playing some old school death match in a descent like envionment. Thank you for the fun.
